One thing is really starting to bug me. Why does seemingly everyone in the F1 paddock say "for sure" all the time. It's been happening for a while now, and it's getting worse, for sure.
Schumacher started it in his early days and I assume it's because the literal translation of certainly in German is something like for sure.
Probably "genau", the Boche say it all the time. Its not an exact translation of for sure, but in the context it's close enough.
Schwarzenegger has always said 'for sure' ever since a camera was thrust into his face from the 70's onwards.
Ok fair enough, I wasn't aware of Swartzeneger or the Scandi' rally drivers using the phrase "for sure", for sure. smile

Schumacher started it? It was being said by F1 drivers before Schumacher was born, let alone in F1.
confused Really?

Anyway, I've never seen any footage of the likes of Fangio, Moss or Clark saying it nor do I recollect G Hill, Hunt, Lauda or Stewart saying "for sure" so I would say on this occasion that unless you can demonstrate otherwise I stand by my statement.
Stewart, Lauda, Mansell, said it for sure......

And Gilles:

.......hairpin turn and held him off for the last half of the lap to secure second place. Villeneuve commented afterwards, "I tell you, that was really fun! I thought for sure we were going to get on our heads, you know, because when you start interlocking wheels it's very easy for one car to climb over another."

I know he has won and all that but the Vettel arse kissing is getting ridiculous. Its not exactly dignified and there is only so many times they can air the same platitudes - much rather see what's going on elsewhere on the grid.

Are EJ and DC fighting for a job at RB as the Groom of the Stool?

Would seem to be a a fundamental error by Lotus. I know it is easy to criticise tyre choice after qually, but I'd suggest that this was easy to criticse before qually.

Plus the multiple mistakes Grosjean made on both runs. Romain is very fast but seems to throw in a few scruffy laps every now and then..... unlucky for him they came when the session was so tight.
