It's a long way away in 2026 (no thread for that yet), but does anyone have any ideas about who'll be driving for Audi?

I've been seeing what is surely nonsense on Twitter that Vettel is discussing things with them...

They could do an awful lot worse then bring Vettel in as an advisor and for development, if not as the 2026 driver.

They’ll need as many people with senior F1 experience, as they can get their hands on. Preferably winning experience.

That would be my guess. If Mercedes think they are in a rebuilding phase for 2-3 years.

I’m sure the IP will be well protected.

I think we’ll see more of these types of technical moves. I’m sure some life changing amounts of money are being offered to switch. Only so far that the Redbull culture can take you when teams are wafting money at people.

He's been there 17 years and probably wants a change. I'm sure the money being offered is great but I imagine it's not the only motivation.
