It's beginning to feel like the McLaren strategy department are inventive and competent, even if that's not quite enough to bridge the gap between their race pace and that of RB, it bodes well.

Couldn’t see the plan from McLaren when they committed to the two stop, but lando is consistently pulling 0.5 of a second out of max at the moment,
It is suddenly looking less mad now

Do we have a "hammertime" equivalent for Lando?

Because it's now!

Wouldn’t put it passed russel to be feeding B.S back to the team about the hard tyres to compromise the teams decision on Lewis’s tyres

100% this.

I still think we are (just) at the point where if you just do the same, Max will always win.

But Mclaren have shown all season that they are willing to try things and take the fight to them, and for that I have to applaud them.

I was worried when I saw that 3.6s pit stop for Lando, glad he managed to just squeak out in front of George.

(McLaren fan here, not showing is it? biggrin)

I missed Max pitting, anyone know the lap difference between Max and Lando's tyres?

I suspect lando can close the gap, but not get past here.

I’m not a Ham fan but I’m willing him to beat moody Russell.

Held Lewis up for too long if they fancied a fight for 2nd.

Don't think it's on for Norris now, seems to have stabilised a bit, if anything he's dropping back. Hopefully Max destroys his rubber now he's pushing on.
