Indeed, if you’re being ironic. I’d love to see him get his comeuppance but, sadly, suspect he is more likely to cause serious injury to another driver if he reverts to his 2021 antics under pressure.

About as admirable of a gentleman as he was in 2021.

Speaking of 2021, it’s Silverstone next weekend!

Where a warm British welcome surely awaits him.

Can’t wait!

The last few times I’ve been to Silverstone, the attitude of the Merc fans, towards Max has been venomous and toxic.

I remember turning around and seeing a man and woman both foaming at the mouth screaming obscenities at Max’ car as it went past for around 5 laps. It really wasn’t a nice environment, especially as I had my young son sitting beside me. Not the F1 crowd or people I want to be sat amongst.

Can't understand why anyone would not prefer to watch it on tv anyway

I prefer to watch in the comfort of my own home, having been to several GPs in the past.

But I would also say that everyone should attend a GP in person at least once.

True but the best sounding days are over so I don't think they're missing much these days.

Off topic.

I really enjoy the British GP race weekend at Silverstone not only for F1. This is the first year in 7 that I’ll be watching at home. Tickets are and have been at a profiteering level for the last 3-4 years which I can’t agree with and what they charge people for a general admission ticket is sickening.

Verstappen is a cheat.

As soon as someone has a car that can keep up with the Red Bull he can only beat them by cheating.

Good to see a UK website deliver so encouragingly on xenophobia.

If it wasn't funny, it would be something else biggrin

I think we can add Mclaren fans to that list as well!

Whenever Max comes across someone in a car with similar performance, who's willing to push him hard, we see a reversion to the old tactics.

The last minute moves under braking, the sticking the car in positions that leave the other guy no way to stay on the road, the willingness to encourage contact in the hope that someone else blinks first.

Today the other guy didn't blink, and Max ruined his own race because he couldn't consider giving up a position without playing dirty.
