Thanks PiaP.

Lando v Max round 2 coming up, and now we will learn if Max can take it without whingefest erupting.

Horny will parade down the pitlane hand in hand with Gerri in a show of sticky finger unity.

Hopefully a sprinkling of rain here and there to make tyre choice tricky/volatile.

It would be ironic if all three days were dry, something that has happened so infrequently in Britain this 'summer' rolleyes
The intro used to include a forecast iirc! smile

I think it's best just to check the forecast live the day before - British weather is too changeable to have a longer term prediction!

Although as we've all known all sodding summer, there is in general a lot of rain around. Looking at the forecast now it seems very unlikely that at least one day won't feature a fair bit of rain.

We can but hope for an all-British podium, any order is fine for me.

Met Office saying Rain all day Friday
Dry Saturday
And 40% chance of rain at 1pm on Sunday. Race doesn't start for 3 hours after that though

Place your bets biggrin

Excited for this one. I am going on Friday and Saturday. Cheaped out and have an uncovered grandstand on Sunday so hope it is not too wet.

I am also hoping for an all British podium

Has an all British podium happened before?

Not at Silverstone but yes elsewhere, possibly Watkins Glen, it is mentioned on the previous page of this thread I think.

Well it’s raining here now, has been since the early hours and it’s distinctly chilly. Going to be drizzly off and on for the next few days, very wet on Friday and it will rain on Sunday. Waterproofs, warm clothing and comfy shoes are the order of the day.

It'll be a first wet Silverstone for me then, been 3 times and it's always been dry.

Has anyone else booked the Park and Ride from Hinton Airfield, for the first time in years I have nothing to print out and put in the windscreen. I've downloaded my park and ride and race day barcodes, but nowhere does it say I need to display anything in the windscreen.

Historically we've had to print the ticket and have it on display as we enter the airfield. This part of the new e-ticket solution or have I missed something?! thanks

You haven't missed much. Sitting in the grandstand for a very wet Friday morning practice, with few cars bothering to leave the pits. Silverstone can be a miserable place.
On the other hand, my last F1 visit was 2021, with 3 days of cloudless skies and 30 degree temperatures. Half hour queues for water.

I haven’t bothered with CH4 coverage for a few years, it’s just RB PR.
If you haven't watched something for years, how do you know it's just RB PR?

Looking forward to this, although they're going to have to try to filter out the boos from the crowd hehe I'd love it if Lando could do it and then go crowd surfing ala Lewis.

Whilst shouting down the pit radio that's what happens when you don't leave the space.
