Bernie is brilliant, I think she's far more interesting and knowledgable than anyone else on the Sky team. Whatever they're paying her, she's well worth it.

I switched to F1TV and missed Bernie for her insights, but they just hired another lady former strategist, Ruth Buscombe, in the same role. A brilliant addition to the team for those of us who are more technically-minded.

I don't mind Crofty but I do get fked off with the way they hype up the threat of rain. He must have spent 4 or 5 laps talking about rain based on a dark cloud. The forcast said the chance of rain during the race was 4%

Karun managed to say "swichback" twice before Shouty just HAD to come in with "switcheroo" despite saying "I was tempted to say.." before opening his megamouth with his favourite saying.
He still has not grasped the difference between getting close to the car in front and actually being in a position to overtake. Time and again it was "Will X get past Y as he is close enough" only for both cars to exit the bend in the same positions.

To be fair, that was actually an appropriate time to use the “switcheroo”, as Norris and Russell were actually trading places in each corner.

Usually he brings it up when 2 cars about 200 yards apart take a different line through a corner.

I reckon he reads this thread and likes a bit of trolling…
