I'm pretty sure some of the current SKY F1 Team Personnel are aware this Forum, but that doesn't mean those who make the decisions are.

Unanimous seal of approval on here for the new guy then.

Let's hope the non PH masses feel the same.
Is anyone at Sky listening, or even reading this forum?!

If they were, they'd be pretty dumb to make any decsions on Croft based on what a load of F1 forum geeks think!

They want a shouty bloke for the masses, not for the <1% that have a good understanding of the sport and can spot the holes in the nonsense the guy shouts.

Mine was a "tongue in cheek" comment; I'm not stupid enough to think anyone at Sky actually takes any notice of PH.

Harry Benjamin, who was apparently popular on the Sky commentary last week, is back on 5 Live now.

Do the ‘masses’ pay to watch Sky F1? I thought that being a subscription service the audience would be largely enthusiasts.

So Hamilton was sitting in the pit because he had run out of tyres, now he's out again, it must be magic

It's the law of inverse affordability.

The poorer and more stupid the individual, the more likely they are to have Sky and every possible sports channel.

Croft is for the army of men that have an England flag hung out their bedroom window, a piss stained mattress in the front garden and a house that permanently smells of chips.

Speak for yourself.

What a horrible prejudiced view that is.

Yea, and I'm totally serious and not tongue in cheek - that makes it even worse...

In the race we had a drivers weakness described as his ‘Achilles wheel’, pun, or just another made up version of a well known phrase.

Yeh not missing Crofty and brundle at all.
So bored of the tick box phrases from both of them.
I missed them both, Brundle more than Croft. Hated whoever was commentating.

Crofty saying Charles was a cut above the rest because of his mother being a hairdresser was a bit cringe. Meanwhile Alex Jacques' commentary at the end I saw a clip of was brilliant.
