So now MV turns it up, fastest lap of the weekend by some distance.
Bloody nearly half a second on a short lap. Struth.

Well 14 of the 15 are going to be running again, no-one (except MV) is safe with it all being so close.

It's obscene how hard Alonso is pushing his suddenly st car to achieve something.

Car says no.

Perez 0.675 down on Verstappen on a lap this short?

Well that session not so close, where the Hell did he find half a second on the whole field out of nowhere?

Ricciardo P11 by 15ms. When the luck doesn’t go your way, the luck doesn’t go your way.

That's not luck mate... It's 15ms worth of error.

Harsh yet true.

Well done Perez, only a second slower than Max.

This is depressing. Was hoping for Verstappen to at least have some work to do tomorrow before waltzing off.

Incident noted, Car 1 driving unnecessarily slowly at pit exit. That deserves a 20-place grid penalty.

Thank god for qualifying. The worse the track is for a GP, the better it tends to be for qualifying.

This circuit really needs updating to create realistic pass under braking section.

In my opinion, whatever the top drivers like Lewis and Max have, Charles doesn’t.

Definitely! Charles is great, so fast... But he throws away that advantage too often. He won't ever be a WDC.

He can be beaten by someone that's not actually quite as quick, but always maximises points haul.

Agreed. He is overdriving personified. He is undoubtedly quick and extremely talented, but he is far too prone to mistakes and far too inconsistent. I think Russell is the same too.
