Can't see it being worth their while, would they even have the budget to be competitive?

Seems so far fetched. Doing F1 would be Tata to all thier money.

Not any more. Thanks to the cost cap and increasing prize money, having an F1 entry is now a licence to print money.

Hence the vociferous objections from FOM and the existing teams to Andretti being given an entry, despite having the might of GM behind the team. JLR/Tata would face exactly the same challenges.

Old (1999) news. wink

Which evolved into the current Red Bull team.

Jaguar back in F1 seems unlikely, but stranger things have happened. Who would supply engines?
Could it be Flavio Briatore was brought into Alpine to facilitate the sale to TATA?

Second chance for Newey to Jaguar F1?

No, not a chance. Jaguar as a brand are at deaths door and Land Rover are about as relevant to F1 as Ferrari is to pig farming...

Tata Comms (different to Tata Consulting Services) do provide the network for F1. Tata Comms is a different division within Tata and they don't collaborate much.

Not sure who provides higher level IT for F1.
