Just got this from Silverstone,
Following a safety review with Formula 1 and Motorsport UK, we've decided to limit the number of fans who can enter the track immediately after this year's race to watch the podium ceremony. This decision comes after several incidents at other circuits.
We are offering some of our fans the opportunity to access the podium ceremony from the Vale Bank area at this year’s event. These fans will be made up of General Admission ticket holders at Vale Bank, as well as those sitting within Vale Grandstand. This will be the ONLY way to access the podium ceremony.
All other customers will be asked to remain in their seat or within their viewing area to watch the podium ceremony on the big screens.
Track access for the rest will only be available an hour after the race finished.
