That's really unfortunate. There seem to be quite a few accidents coming down to getting the braking distance wrong - I wonder if they could adapt the cars a little as I'm wondering if they've got the strength to fully utilise the braking capabilities?

Ah bless - my heart sank when I saw the red flag before realising it was for the craziest of reasons and no accidents involved! I hope the team has a word with her though as she was way too fast once the red flags were out - red flag is meant to be VERY slow. Well done to her though - a dominant weekend.

An interesting race - messy start then got interesting. The podium suggests it could have the sort of season F1 would love. Time will tell. As for Fittipaldi crying on the podium - absolutely clap dedicating your life to standing there - fair play.

Well done indeed!!
Because we're in a little corner of PH I'll admit a little something - at my first ever test day at Castle Combe (FF1600) I had a stunning morning - fast, consistent etc. After lunch I went back to the circuit thinking I was definitely the next Schumacher - until I had a massive "off". Tears were shed because I felt so bad for all the people who'd worked so hard on my car. It took a bit longer to appreciate it was, sadly, part of racing.

Here's the timetable that includes the support races -

Looks like we're back to a F2 and F3 timetable.

Anyone know the broadcaster for the Supercars? Are they on the Sky schedule, as they’re not on F1TV. Likely to be a bit more fun than the Carreras we usually see in that slot.

Seems to be about £6 for the month.

Cool, will take a look if I can’t find another way of watching. Thanks for your comment on the race thread as well, appreciated! beer
No worries - the guy seems a total jerk. It's when I like this little corner away from the main thread! beer

I think I got him banned from this thread a fortnight ago, for some horribly misogynistic comment about the Academy races. He’s not posted anything other than provocative bks, and I don’t understand why he created an account three years ago but decided to only start posting a fortnight ago. Perhaps a hacked account?
Good work if you have got him banned - he's the very last thing we need in this thread. And yes - timelines do seem quite strange.

I'm hoping to see as much of the racing as possible this weekend but Australia is always a hard one. I used to leave the club and go home to watch the race - those days are gone laugh

Somehow Nikola Tsolov has avoided a race ban and has been given a 3 place grid drop and 2 penalty points for punting Alex Dunne off the track.

I missed the F3 - but let's see what F2 can produce.

10 laps into the F3 Feature race, and it seems that yesterday’s optimism for good driving was somewhat misplaced.
Is it on catch up?

Sadly can't watch this weekend but will keep an eye on things. Surely Antonelli needs a good result considering he's being mentioned with a senior F1 seat?

I'm so confused by the confidence they have in him.

Seen it elsewhere in other series.
Can cause an imbalance in results if one group gets a clear session and the other suffers red flags.
Thought Hadjar’s near miss in the Tunnel showed skilful reactions - could have been very nasty.
Definitely a code brown... https://x.com/ahmed_baokbah/status/179399756976660...

Wow!
I giggled watching this. Reminds us - they're not the same laugh
