Mercedes have a female mechanic on the front nearside wheel. Unusual?
They could using practice to try out new people to assess them for the main pit crew?

Well, evidently unusual to you, in the sense that you felt the need to comment on it.

Don't really see that it is particularly remarkable though.

Nice question from MB to CH about Checo. You can tell immediately that CH DOES regret signing Checo. And reading between the lines, there may well be performance related get outs for RB?

I said at the time of his contract signing that I didn't think he'd be in the car in 2025.

Could've been nasty, as could the Stroll Leclerc one. These drivers should know not to loitre around that section of the track.

I still can't believe they renewed Checo given his recent abysmal performance. It's not even as if Max would have been pushing to keep him on as a wingman as Checo is even failing at that.

I can only assume that Max wants someone utterly st to make himself look better.

NOTE: When I say "utterly st" I mean in relative terms. Obviously Checo is a better driver than I could ever hope to be

I think the behind the scenes situation in Red Bull is far more of a clusterfk than it looks like on the surface. Signing Perez was a zero cost move to try and add another reason for Verstappen remaining. If they need to he'll be ditched.

nice direct question! what on earth did they sign him so early for needed to get him to wake up not go to sleep and a new contract before half season was a strange thing to do.

I normally turn up today and camp over the weekend, so interested to know what the weather is like as it’s raining in Surrey.

Oh for sure. Red Bull are utterly ruthless and will drop a driver like a hot turd when it suits them. They have previous.

I can't even bear to listen to Christian Horner speak these days. I feel like I am being pebbledashed with ste every time I hear more than a word from him.

I suggest you look at what Zak Brown has been up to in Indycar this year if you want actual ruthlessness, RB standing by a fairly useless Perez for 3 years ain't it.

Sacking well performing drivers 2 days before the next race having told them they're in for the season because someone else has turned up with more cash, sacking an injured driver 3 days after issuing a press release saying they were supporting him fully etc.

LOL. Typical of you to be contrarian and have to come up with a "yeah but others are worse" in your blind devotion for Red Bull.

Never change, bro. hehe

This can be the only reason. Max is RB biggest assest and I can only assume it was to appease him

I must have missed this set of changes....there are now all sorts of concerts, family days and the like when it used to be just a race?..Has the British GP turned into a sort of American Superbowl event?....I would not be surprised to see cheerleaders. Maybe this is just part of the ongoing Netflix artificial drama, interviews and all the celebrity slop.

I just watch the race.

Watching F2 qualifying. Olly Bearman is out in this, didn't get much of a break from his f1 stint
