I can understand a normal person finishing one job and starting another soon after as they want to keep the direct debits serviced.
.
There are those who no matter how much cash they accumulate will still want to work. It is what they are.............
And/or he's just very passionate about designing cars, racing and winning. He may not see it as 'work', more of a privilege in many ways perhaps.

I am utterly convinced (but that is because I want it to be true), that it was a done deal when Lewis signed. I think that both signed on the basis that the other would. A final career for both of them, can you imagine if Lewis wins his 9th WDC with a Newey car at Ferrari?!?!!? What a story.

If he does indeed go to Ferrari, that would mean he and Lewis were both talking to Ferrari at around the same time. If that's the case I find it very hard to imagine that niethers interest was mentioned to the other and vice versa scratchchin

Maybe they even bumped into each other in the waiting room outside the boss's office on interview day.

"Oh Adrian's out there? Weird... Anyway Lewis, we really think we're on a great trajectory for the 2026 regs.."

I've heard that himself and Eddie Jordan are setting up their own team, Jordan F1. They will punch above their weight with Ralf Verstappen and Heniz Harold Hamilton as the drivers.

I'm sorry for being slow, but the names? I can't see what you mean by them. I was a bit of a fan of HH Frentzen. He had the beating of m Schumacher in lower formulae and got second in the WDC one season. Quite accomplished.

Anthony is central to this.

But he has an even better *Ace up his sleeve.

  • that is causing Andretti some headaches

Joe Seaweed has confirmed this.

I'm not totally sure that has to be true (though it might be)

I have predicted Lewis ending his career at Ferrari for many years so it might be that he went because he wanted to be a Ferrari driver. Newey might just be a happy alignment.

I'm not claiming it's true... I'm just imagining that if they were talking to both of them and the discussions were positive, it would seem a no brainer to mention that fact...

Given that Lewis and Newey have both said they'd like to work together. Just give people what they want, that's the easiest way to sell an idea.

If (when?) it becomes official, I’d like to think the PH collective have willed the Ferrari super team into existence.

Such power from our collective armchairs yes

My armchair actually has PH go faster stripes, just to make sure it's good!

Sorry, meant Jasandjules comment.

I can equally see that Lewis went to Ferrari with no ideal that Newey could be joining him.
