Integra Type-R

Yep, ran one for a year. Very good motor, always gives you a buzz when you get it in the VTEC revs. It is quite raw though, harsh ride etc and you need to rev the engine like a hooligan to get it going. Read the ongoing civic type r thread to see this. I got rid of it because of the massive depreciation ~£400/month.

I had one for a week while my car was in for some work. Great fun, sounds awesome, in a howling, screaming way rather than a rumbling way. Handles great. Not ideally suited to motorway cruising though!
I found it hard work keeping in the vtec zone(above 6000) I guess it's just a matter of getting used to it. On a straight blast, no problem at all, but when the twisty stuff starts I just kept finding myself at 4000rpm with nothing doing.
Worth a spin though.
