Spanish GP the big F1 yawn
Discussion
The only good bit was watching the in car shot of Jenson Button. He really is something special, shame to see him loose out on a podium place.
When you see accidents like the mechanic getting run down it always makes me wonder if Big Bernie has dropped the guy a couple of ten grand to spice things up a bit?

Occurs to me to wonder what it would be like if TVR had an F1 team.
I can hear the commentary now: "Oh and his wing mirror's fallen off! Never mind, he cn get another one from the Minardi boys since that's where it came from. And he's pitting for his second engine rebuild of the afternoon..."

perhaps you should all be watching Moto GP. Far more exciting watching bike racing....they actually overtake each other. Also it's a far tougher sport. If they get it wrong it hurts.
you beat me to it mate ! motogp is *so* much better. Made even more interesting when you own a bike, and can appreciate what it really means.
I usually do some ironing while watching the GP, it was tough to decide which was more boring.
Mind you they did show that great Toyota Celica add where the guy thinks he is being followed and races down some back roads finally decaring "I think I lost them" then his wife pipes up "wonderull darling but how are your parents going to find the resturant now"

Yes it was a yawn to see Shuie' out in front unchallenged, shame really as I was looking forwaard to watching Barrichello challenge him for P1 for once, also it was fun watching our Jensen running in a decent 3rd place until his hydraulics/gear selection started to give up. One thing about watching it on Sky is that you can completely blank Shuie' out by selecting screens 3 or 4 and watch the action around 5th/6th/7th place, far better. That said F1 really needs to spice itself up a bit to make me want to lay out £12.00 every other Sunday, back to recording it off ITV and skimming through the highlights I think. R..

I'm not a Schumacher fan - but you have got to admit he is the class of the field.

Also I don't remember it being boring in '92 when Mansell seemed to win every race by a similar margin!!!
Well, whether he's class of the field or not, something is very wrong with Formula One. I have stopped watching it completely, because it's duller than watching f******g Changing rooms.
The Mansell thing was OK because the poor bloke deserved to win a championship after being so unlucky. Luck isn't a word you would ascribe to Schumacher.
He may be the class of the field Dave but he's bad for the sport and will always be a Cheat for what he did to Damon Hill and Jaques Villeneuve to try to win the title.
Just as Stephen Hendry made us all turn snooker off, so does Schuey with F1, and IMO it won't be long before Golf is the same with Tiger Woods. People watch sport for the competition, not to see some borng bloody sub-human machine run off into the distance......
