Attempting to buy discs and pads for my E39 530i BMW.

Thought I would look to put the suggested best 'bang for buck' option of 1144 mintex pads.

Struggling to source them though and looking on the mintex website they do not mention 1144's or even that they do different pad variants at all.

I am assuming that I need to buy these.....

http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/detprod.asp?productcode=MDB1745M1144&PID=1145056

and these from fleabay will not be sufficient (ie not 1144 compound)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-530-540-E39-MINTEX-FRONT-BRAKE-PADS-97-04-MDB1745-/360115338157?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53d88bfbad

Are 1144 hard to get hold of? - only places I can find are the motorsportworld and camskill (if you search MDB1745M1144)

Help appreciated.

Both links don't work but Demon Tweeks do them or http://www.questmead.co.uk/

edited to add

the MDB1745 ref is the shape/ size of the pad, 1144 the compound. The ones on Ebay will be a Mintex road compound whereas the ones on the other link are 1144's
