Video: How To Make A Volvo 740 Interesting
Fancy seeing a trio of precision-drifted Volvo 740s on virgin snow? Of course you do...
This deeply, deeply awesome video proves that even a 1980s Volvo can be made to look cool given the right set of circumstances. And possibly that Volvo's marketing bods were doing a lot of drugs back then.
But the video itself is most confusing: why are the 740s chasing a middle-aged man in a 244? Why do they hunt in packs? And at what point does the 240 go from being chased to doing the chasing?
Frankly, we can't really work it out. All we know is that you can forget Climb Dance: from now on the lovely 1980s helmswomen of 'Snorace' are the yardstick by which we measure car control at PH...

used to drive 740 and used to live in similar conditions. Thanks for bringing those memories
740 was a nice car to drive and easy to control. And since it is winter in video - it was always very warm inside. Was doing long trips with -36 outside without noticing (apart from suspension being a bit 'wooden' at that cold).
Sometimes I think, why not to buy it again (they are not that expensive in UK). Such thing disappears when I check the fuel price
