Why not? Level crossings are perfectly safe if used properly! They are not difficult to use for anyone with half a brain - OK, that rules out 25% of the motorists on the road today, unfortunately

The picture in the article shows she was approaching the crossing from the North West (opposite side of track to the signalling building. Presumably she was heading left after the crossing and simply turned too soon.

TT's try and send you down the Guided Busway here....it runs 13 miles to Cambridge....doh......and mine ALWAYS tries to send me down a dirt track to reach a main road from my house...and then there is the fella in the BMW who followed the TT and ended up stranded and got fined for it... Started using Google navigation on my 'droid phone...all that needs is speed cams then it will be perfick
