so what were the first cars of your generation?

Ive been thinking recently, my generation has sadly been tarnished with the chav brush. episodes of programs like road wars and alike show my generation as "youfs" that go round "cruzin" in chavved up saxos and corsas. these seem to be the cars of my generation, were all pretty much stuck with them and then they become fashionable (unbelievably i know). So i would say the first cars of my generation are the side skirt clad euro boxes that tear round most of the country. But they put a smile on some peoples faces and they are still someone's pride and joy. Think about what you did to your cars at that age, and how you destroyed them. Its a right of passage.

Can't post up any pics as any I have are not digitised and stuck in a box somewhere (may search over Xmas)These are the ones I modded!
1) Austin A40, 1098cc. Went through various incarnations, painted purple and white, then pranged and blew engine. Ended up Black with gold stripes (JPS style) with 1275 CC stg 2 engine.
2) Austin Mini 850. Glass fibre front/doors/boot, tinted prspex windows, stage 2/weber 40DCOE.
3) Hillman Hunter 1725cc updated to Holbay engine, jacked up rear with mahoosive Wolfrace wheels and high profile tyres,side exit exhaust, interior fully lined with faux fur.
4) Triumph 2.5PI, jacked up rear and whale-tail spoiler (remember those?)
5) Lancia Beta HPE. Modded carbs and cam. front and rear spoiler with 'side-skirtz'
6) BMW 323i (E21) Flowed head and modded ECU, straight through exhaust, lowered.
7) MG Metro, fully modded engine (120BHP) uprated suspension.
8) Triumph Stag Mk11. Rover V8, split exhaust, American carb.
