I think we've overdosed on winter tyre threads in the past month.

The threads currently running are becoming repetitive, with the same old arguments.

Do we really need any more?

The irony is strong in this one.

No-one is forcing you to read them. If you don't want to read them, or contribute to them, then, er, don't. Simple enough, Shirley?

The problem is two-fold.

Firstly, winter tyres are expensive and to feel like one has invested wisely means the importance of the purchase must be made clear to others.

Secondly, anyone who might want to talk about something else has died as a result of daring to drive without them.

If I was a mod I would even lock this thread, and I love winter tyres.

Luckly for me I haven't read one, not going to as my slicks work just fine on these

roads not a flake of snow insight.

Yes I appreciate the irony - and I was slightly apprehensive at posting this poll.

However..

I think it's fair to say that everything that could be said about winter tyres has been said, and it's about time attention was turned to another hot topic.

And yes I realise I don't have to read them, however in anticipation of gleaning something new, I have done.

I voted no.

But (some) new ones will prop up anyway, I'm sure.

No big deal - just don't read them (all).

It's nonsense polls like these that'll see your poll posting priviledges revoked.

I voted yes please. I would also like to see options on the poll for Can we have another Freemasons thread and can we have another Will a failure invalidate my existing MOT certificate thread.
