Never really noticed before, but since seeing one the other day I've now spotted a few.

What's that all about? Was it a factory option or something?

Pretty sure it was a jap option as it was on the Soarer/Supra et al

Some imports have them as standard , the rest cone from eBay

Normally indicates its an import.

I think you could specify it as a trim option over here, but it was much less popular. For some reason almost all the white LS400's have it.

The old imports were affected. Anything new with it done means an Asian owner.

Was a factory fit option in the UK- You could either have 18k Gold pLated badges or you could have 18k solid gold badges. Does not indicate they are imports
