My brother has aquired one for bugger all and is planning to MOT and sell it, however I am rather interested!

Clean black body with beige leather, looks in good nick overall. Its the 1.6 version.

Does anyone have any experience of them? Am I correct in assuming that being a Nissan it should be very reliable?

I'm also assuming its fwd but would be happy to be corrected if its rwd biggrin

Opinions appreciated

Cheers

Run away, run away very very quickly. What you are interested in is a Nissan Sunny in bad drag.

Think of it as that cute girl you see at the bar........she just happens to be called Brian.

the one on my drive, not that one wink

this liking for random cars is probably why there are 3 licensed drivers in the house and 6 cars on the drive!

It's a slow gutless vague handling plasticky rusty bag of ste. It's a marginally prettier version of a sunny, but they've done nothing else to it.

Also, only girls drove them....

1. Its a Nissan Sunny in drag
2. Drag, Sunny in
3. Camper than a row of pink tents at an uphill gardeners convention that is being presented in conjunction with a Cher tribute act.
4. Purports to be a sports coupe when in fact it is, well I refer you to points 1 and 2

All of the above however can be ignored if you work for a company called Toni and Guy and have a lovely life partner called Ricardo from the Philipines and your kitchen floor.

But seriously if you are after a two door sports coupe then please please please look elsewhere.

If you want something weird, a Toyota Sera?

Now, for a weird, low power Jap car, the Sera takes the biscuit. Not all that bad if I recall, from seeing them as Jap shows.

As has been noted already. They're not very note worthy.

As much as I hate to be part of the PH MX5 love in, the man talks sense

Well, I'd take the MR2, but hey ho, it's law to say MX5, isn't it? hehe

Indeed, having said that at 6'4 I've always had trouble fitting into either of em :S

Nothing much wrong with the Sunny that it is based on, quite a good drive actually. I imagine it could be quite nice to punt about.

Run away! In fact if it's anywhere near the top of your £2k budget (or in fact, any more than £500) then running isn't going to get you away fast enough!

Look at an MX-5, Puma, Saxo VTS, even an MGF or Punto HGT would be a better bet than the 100NX.
