Does anyone know anything about this? According to the address I've found online it's about 5 minutes away from me. Is it public access or some chaps private collection? What do they have?

It certainly used to be open to the public although I think it closed during the mid '90's. Certainly some of the cars were sold off. I understand it still exists but whether it's still possible to visit is something I'd be interested to know as well!

Was owned /run by the Patrick Motor Group - do they still exist?

Maybe I'll just go down there at some point this week. Worst than can happen is that I get told to bugger off by the buildings new owners.

I visited afew times when I was younger, it was an amazing place in it's heyday.

My Dad got talking to one of the chaps looking after the cars and explained he was involved with the Science Museum up here in Manchester and after a few minutes he said wait here...

He only comes back with the keys to a load of the cars! I gat to play in:

288 GTO, 959, T16 road car, Quattro Sport, as new Lotus Sunbeam, Zagato Aston Martin and so many more!

A great place that I believe has gone now but gave me a great few days out.

Wonder what happened to the cars. Just watching a Top Gear episode from 1987 and they have the Audi Quattro rally car on it which they state belongs to the Patrick Collection.

Would be worth a small fortune now.

Top gear 19 Nov 1987 for anyone interested
