Pleased to hear you'll have funding for the next car/bike, which let's face it, is one of the major concerns of being unemployed!

Don't know too much about IT, other than the fact that when you're invited to a 'workshop', it isn't the done thing to take an angle grinder & mig welding set. Funny people.

I guess I'll be easing off on the surfing a bit, but will be back atleast once a week. This has become my favourite website.

Yeah, I funded the XJR & the 307 out of my redundancy package! Also purchased;-

Geodesy
2 new full susp. Mountain bikes
New CD player
Loads of other household stuff

So I go to a new job, and can afford to live ! no loans or credit cards to pay. I start saving for the the exotic cars from this point.

IT is a weird world. Pay can be good, but I think the suicide rate can be alarmingly high as well. Loads of my mates cracked up in IT. I put my staying sane down to a love of bikes.

Thanks for the support!

2 New full sus mountain bikes

Nice!!

I'm a die hard mountain biker as well. (and I have the injuries to prove it oops)

I reckon if I hadn't pissed all my money away on expensive MTB's then I would probably own my own car or motorbike.
But, hey, at least the insurance is cheaper on a (mountain) bike!!

Congratulations on the new job by the way

A biker claiming to be sane - an oxymoron surely?.......

Good luck in the new job.
