Here's an idea why don't us local boys meet up for a drink, should be intersting to put faces to names and to look at the cars, anybody up for it? first round of drinks are on me!
ahhhhh....imagine the scene, all those TVRs, (and my golf! )
I'm up for it (I too live in Maidenhead) shall we start a thread with Date and Location. Shire Horse Pub in Maidenhead is very easy to find and has an enormous car park.
I live in High Wycombe.
I was going to suggest a really decent country pub just south of Oxford, called The Crazy Bear at Stadhampton. It is much better quality than normal and has a really nice large gravel private car park, where cars can be parked without scrotes having a go.
This should make it close enough for the Maidenhead/Slough guys, but near enough for Northants members.
Just a thought, anyway.
Also, if we have a meet, we'll have to think of a regular time - say first Sunday of each month, 3.30pm.

It is both - very classy little hotel with funky rooms at reasonable rates, nice Chinese restaurant in the cellar, and a lovely traditional pub as a whole. They have decent cuban cigars behind the bar and do fresh olives, along with local bitters and your ubiquitous Stella, so it has a touch of class. Well, in my book, anyway! Not extortionate, though.
Best thing is crunch of deep gravel in car park (donuts are not on the menu!) and their outside seating area overlooks it, so you can stare at your car if you want to.
