I understand that this will replace the Octavia next year.

And the owner thinks that this looks good? Why on earth did they do that to a Skoda.....

I cant remember the thread on Gassing Station, but there was a web site by an American chap with a supercharged BMW 540i - he also posted up pictures of badly modified BMW's hes seen in the USA. A couple of them were Honda Accord coupes in serious body kits to make them look like BMW coupes - WHY? Almost as bad as those Fiero F40 kit cars....

When you can get a pedigree sports car for the same amount of money - the mind boggles...

Cheers and havent stopped laughing yet.

One of the workman at school had a tampered with scoda with 'PittBull' written on the front - in TIPPEXX!!

Anyway take a look at this for DIY modifying.

I'd be surprised if that were the case...

The ironic thing is that those Skodas were good cars, rear engined, RWD and very successful at rallying

JSG, have you ever driven one??? The road going things are a 'horrible, horrible car' as Clarkson would say. My wife's cousin lent me his 105S (18years old) after my car was stolen last month. Understeer is an understatement. Only way to get the back round a corner is to apply the handbrake (if it works). The rally cars were great, won the world championship in their class year after year, but that is where they belong!

Kevin,

No, I have to admit I've never even been in a Skoda, I just remember watching the rallying on tele and hearing that they handled well - road going not so good then? I'll stick with the TVR then

Cheers,
JSG.
