I usually have at least three cars (including a classic) on the road at any one time.
I own all the vehicles privately, and don't have a business.
Does anyone out there know of an insurance company with a blanket policy that would cover all cars in such circumstances, and if so is it cost effective ?
Cheers.

It's called trade insurance. It will cover you up to a certain value on ANY car, fully comp.

Of course, you have to be a 'motor trader' but there are no rules about being full time, a limited company or having a certain turnover.

If you buy and sell one car a year 'part time', it just means you aren't going to win a gong at the motor trader awards for volume sales.

Always check the small print, though.

Didn't somebody mention a policy that covered house, contents and multiple cars on one policy somewhere on Pistonheads?

I dug out the details about the all in one 'car house travel hamster etc' policy.

Broker was CQ Commercial, it was Lloyds underwritten
Tel. number was: 0113 389 0330

Let us know how you get on.

The other company mentioned in earlier threads was 'Prestige'. I spoke to a guy called Paul Scott on (07990) 780453 about Portfolio Insurance.
