How dare they pretend to be a motoring programme when they clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

Tossers These Legends describe my feelings towards them.

Weeeelllll .....

A) it's better than TG now-a-days

B) it's a motor program on telly .... ANY motor program is better than none (the more the merrier, I say ). If people keep on slagging Driven off, someone in the telly business might actually take notice and take it off air and replace it with, oh, say something exciting like pro celebrity knitting ...

They do seem to have a somewhat random points system on the Driven-100 though ...

(p.s. who's "Puny" ??)

Why the hell do they make Drivel for the ideot masses?- most people that watch it are like us,- people that manage to hold a wheel and do the belts up.
Why let a retard drive the supercars, when theres a BTCC champ next to him- someone that can actualy drive!

too right tom... the gimp they put behind the wheel of the cars last night was hardly a fair test of the cars' real potential round a track. I doubt very much if the Porker would be THAT much quicker than the 360 if Plato had been driving....

Come back Top Gear, all is forgiven

I have to say that although the Tuscan won their absurd 'Drivel 100'last night it was purely by accident rather than design.

Please can we have something more intelligent on our screens

PLEASE for Chrissakes PLEASE

Did I read some spiel somewhere that C5 had allegedly bought TG in it's current format with the presenters thrown in as well?

Driven? Absolute sh*t, Stopped watching it, it was giving me stress.

All the Petrolheads should be bombarding the C4 web site with these comments.

I got the measure of Drivens quality broadcasting when the irritating cockney one suggested that to make a VW Beetle run on unleaded you ought to replace the cylinder head.

I wonder which one, the left side or the right side, the Tw@t didn't even know flat4 engines have 2 cylinder heads.

Apologies for the Non TVR bit, I have a beetle as well as my S. I feel much better now :-)

Matt,

Don't be too hard on our cockney, he's had a tough life and was referring to a VW that had a different engine.

Anyway if you're so clever you would know that a Beetle has a Golf engine in it - so huh..

Puny...

All original Beetles had Flat4 engines with 2 Cylinder heads and the man was beside the car at the time...

They hadn't even invented the Golf when they were churning out Original Beetles so what are you talking about???

So what, it's very funny IMHO - well done Puny.

Thom, you may already know this but, Penny Mallory is a well know TV presenter whilst Puny Mammory effectivly means 'Small Jugs' (breasts)

So TV producers out there, do a program for real petrol heads, no silly economy tests, where the box of eggs go etc. No bolt on issues either. The world must be full of motoring monsters and fun, JC found a few. Leave Drivel as it is, I don't watch it anyway. Every one is knocking Drivel so what do you want to see instead? Maybe someone with the purse strings is taking note?

I've had a response from these guys and you have no chance, it's all down to viewing figures, they have a basic format to go with and their job is purely to increase the numbers, this is done by dilluting the program with enough banality to appeal to some channel hopping retard who will find something that will hold the attention of his 2 overworked braincells long enough to register.....the genuine appeal of a motoring program is cock all to do with it unfortuately which is why mass brainwashing with eastenders etc is so popular
