Toyota MR2 Roaster OR SLK230 Kompressor
Discussion
MR2 is more of drivers machine, light, agile, the Merc is more of a refined cruiser, not as many sporty thrills, very different machine from an MR2, depends what you want to use it for and want you want out of the car. I think LA has an SLK230 Kompressor so you may want to quiz him on the ownership experience.

I had the E300 TD and after a while it just got Sooooo boring to drive, tooo comfortable, what I love about the MR2 is how you feel every lump in the road and its a real point and shoot car, I dont want to get rid of it and regret it by buying a car that has none of the personality of my little roadster!!!

I would never buy an SLK..
Unless its the new shape one, cos they are quite good
Long time no speak!! How come?? Unfotunately can't afford a new shape one (although that would be nice!)
Its a poor car, in many many ways..
Not a patch on your MR2
Any reasons why? If anyone is goin to be able to help me chose it will be you lot!!
Missy, DO NOT buy the Merc!
Get some Toyota lowering springs, -30mm and make a world of difference to the handling which is great anyway. Get better tyres put on (toyo's cost next to nothing and are excellent). Get a good exhaust put on, plenty available, and either get an induction kit or do the 'airbox mod' (PM me if you need details of how!) Get some strut braces on there too. There are also various aftermarket turbo conversions. I loved my MR2, absolutely superb cars.

As you rightly point out, a boulevard cruiser, but a small one, and fast on its feet when the need arises.
Its the final straw, LA has got rid of the Griff and bought a mobile hair dressing salon!!! I can't take it anymore, i'm going to go to bed before i do damage to my desk!
