The year of the locust.
Discussion
After many, many years of waiting, the sequel to I am pilgrim by Terry Hayes has today been released.
I found the first book a cracking spy thriller which was well received by critics and readers alike.
I have just downloaded it ready for a long drive next week and am looking forward to listening.

I’m 90% through this and if I had another book to read (I’m working away from home) I’d have given up on this.
The hero is indestructible, gifted with foresight and the plot goes from daft to absolutely ridiculous!
Lots of the tech described is just too outlandish to make it believable and some of it is just plain wrong.
But the last bit! Oh my god.

I preordered this on Amazon on 4th January 2017, naturally, the card I used for the preorder is now defunct, trying to change it to my new one melted Amazons computer and they cancelled my order. I don't think Amazon are used to orders taking so long to fulfill
Preordered with a 7 year wait and I've still not bothered opening the bag it was delivered in. Considering how good pilgrim was I'm not going to waste my time with locust.
