Kindle - easiest/cheapest way in
Discussion
Hi all - this may be a stupid question with an obvious answer, however, just wanted to see if anyone knew any tips or tricks.
My wife has asked me about getting a Kindle - what's the cheapest way to get into this? If we get a Kindle Unlimited subscription does this come with a half price Kindle?
oh well, as i type i am realising this may come across as a stupid post lol.

Prime reading is free if you do have Amazon Prime. You get a reasonable selection of books, but you are likely to get in a situation where you get hooked on the first book in a series, then have to buy the rest. Rarely do you get follow up books on Prime.
Kindle unlimited is different, you will usually get a full series and if you do read more than say three books a month, it will work out cheaper.
They used to bundle a couple of months subscription to Unlimited when you buy a new Kindle, not sure if they do at the moment.
I do have a suspicion that Amazon might have suffered a bit with unlimited recently though, people seem to be dropping it.
My wife self publishes and the page count from unlimited is half what it was six months ago. It’s hurting the royalties!
