I'm hearing so many stories, truths, half truths, fake news about the history of Ukraine. Good and bad.
I'd like to understand the real background to what's gone on there over the centuries, not just the current conflict.
Can anyone suggest a book on the subject please.

Done a search of the obvious, 1st Ed 2016, is the revised ed 2017? And is there much change?

May 2021 is the revised edition date

The main additions are the revival of the Ukrainian economy, the election of Volodymyr Zelensky, the ongoing war in the Donbas and the role of Ukraine in the impeachment of Trump.
