Anyone else disappointed with the options recently?

I used to look forward to my monthly free books; there was often something that proved interesting that I would otherwise have missed or overlooked. A great way to discover books outside of my safe comfort zone.

Lately, the choices have been dire (for me) - despite being free I've not bothered taking any.
