Having a clear out and I've found a copy of "The Chemist and Druggist" journal, dated 14th April 1906!

The cover is a bit tatty but the pages themselves are in remarkably good condition. It's full of interesting adverts for things like asbestos socks (not joking) and old pharmacy shops. There's even an advert for somewhere selling chloroform for anaesthesia.

I'm loathed to throw it out so I was going to stick it on Ebay but I've no idea how much it's worth, if anything at all? Does anyone know about this sort of thing?

put it on at 99p and see what it sells for / if it sells...

old magazines seem to have a value based on their content - not that they are old - e.g. having stories in part form from a famous author such as Dickens could add to the value...

I imagine professionals such as pharmacists, doctors etc might well be interested in that sort of thing. Medical related equipment seems to sell pretty well. Exactly how much it is worth though, would depend on how many interested people you could find. Back in those days heroin and cocaine were freely available commercial products, they are registered trademarks!
