I really enjoyed Adrian Newey's book, currently enjoying John Barnard's book, and still have Ross Brawn's one to read.

Can anyone recommend similar books, not necessarily biographies, but more where the cutting edge of motorsport engineering is explored - not necessarily F1, happy to read about sportscars etc

Design to Win, Drive to Win, Tune to Win, etc - any of the books by Carroll Smith

Not really cutting edge stuff, but Karl Ludvigsen's book 'Colin Chapman: Inside the Innovator' gives a very good technical history of Chapman's work.

If you enjoyed the Barnard and Newey books, Tony Southgate's 'From Drawing Board to Chequered Flag' is well worth a look, too.
