sounds good ,?better choice for film than silmarillion
I reckon the Simarllion could be a decent film, the Ainulindalë being some sort of animated or cgi prologue, then the story of Fëanor...but I think it would be a much better series, Netflix or HBO, talk abut grim, would make Game of Thrones look like the telly tubbies, and then it all could be done.Amazon are meant to be doing a big budget version of LotR over 5 seasons ($250m in licensing fees alone), so if that goes down well I could see them moving onto the other books including this one.
The only downside is that some of the more interesting stuff from the Silmarillion isn't that well fleshed out, so there is scope for another hash of it to made like Jackson did with the Hobbit.
