KIndle Unlimited, Any Good?
Discussion
Do many people on here use it and what are your thoughts on it?
I have just changed my method of commuting and am now reading much more, so the price per month looks like it could be good value. But, is there a good selection of decent books or is it just full of peoples first attempts(not knocking that but would like some decent authors too).
Thanks,

I had it for a while. There's a LOT of dross, but some complete gems in there, and it's improving. It's a lot of newer stuff and less from well known authors - though they're adding more back catalog stuff as the authors realise it does make them money ( I read an interesting article a while back on the monetization side of it and it's a nice earner for the authors, especially as they've removed some of the ways it can be gamed).
I stopped it because my reading style is usually book after book after book for a month or two, then stop for a couple of months, then binge read again - the subscription part stopped making sense to me.
I never ran out of things to read, though.
I'd give it a go for a couple of months and see how you get on.
