Books about Bookshops
Discussion
I don't know how many there are but I just picked up a brand new one - Shaun Bythell's "The Diary of a Bookseller". He runs a used bookshop in Scotland and his acid humour and detailed observations go some way to explaining why many bookshop owners appear grumpy. Very funny and quite wicked at times.
If anyone knows of anymore first hand accounts of working in the book trade, please do tell.

The author (of the book I'm reading) did namecheck the first of those in his intro. I'll have a look, ta Weird things customers say in bookshops:

If you're interested in bookshop based thrillers (sounds unlikely, I know!) I haven't found one better than You - Caroline Kepnes
https://www.amazon.co.uk/You-Caroline-Kepnes/dp/14...
Joe Goldberg will stay with you.

Not heard of that; will have a google, ta.
EDIT: That was one of the ones mentioned in Diary of a Bookseller - I made a note to look them up. Doh... Fiction though, I don't really read much fiction. I'll see if I can pick it up though.

The un-named anti-hero of the Mystery Man series owns one - No Alibis.
Colin Bateman's comic thriller series. Read 'em all
And the Dan Starkey series too.
