Recommended me something

Hi chaps,

Looking for something new to read. Not sure exactly what I'm after, I'm generally a big Charles Dickens fan, but I also adored The Count of Monte Cristo.... But I think I'm after more of a crime thriller or something. I really enjoyed "the girl with the dragon tattoo series" by Stieg Larsson.

Also really liked 1984 or animal farm by George Orwell..... Quite a variety I know but I've no idea what to try next really. Half tempted by Angels and Demons (quite enjoyed Da Vinci Code if I remember correctly (though that was many years ago!)... Is Angels and Demons any good?

Did you ever read "The Thirty Nine Steps"? That's a good one. I picked up the complete set of stories about Richard Hannay (the protagonist of The Thirty Nine Steps) a while back:

Which was pretty good fun - a little bit uneven at times perhaps, but they fairly rip along; and you can't go wrong at that price!
