Jeffrey Archer to me has always been able to spin a fine yarn.

The latest (6th novel) is no exception. I tried a couple of evenings to put it down three times. In the end had to continue to the end smile

I've read one or two and they were OK, but I've not been inspired to read them all.

6th Clifton (the penultimate apparently) currently awaiting me finishing Mark Billingham's Time of Death. Whatever you think of the man, you cannot deny Archer is a superb story teller.

Count me in. Just read the 11th commandment and next is Paths of Glory.

He does tell a good story!

I enjoyed "Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less", followed by "Kane and Abel" but got pissed off by "The Prodigal Daughter" as half was just a rehash of K&A.

Haven't read any since.
