Obviously a lot of people have heard of these, so are they worth a read?? I'm looking for something to read and fancy something new from am author I've not read before. She also did the Poirot series, are these also worth a read?

Many thanks

I had a voracious appetite for Agatha Christie when I was a kid. At a guess, somewhere between aged 9 and 12.

Couldn't get enough of 'em.

Yes, an "easy" read, obviously somewhat dated, and I'd stay clear of watching the films and TV series if you're getting into the books. A little imagination and they're (at worst) ripping yarns and probably quite absorbing at any age between 10 and 110....

the books are brilliant, easily stand the test of time and include some of the best thought out whodunnits ever committed to paper. Agatha Christie was awesome
