Name this book

Going mad trying to remember the title of a book that was recommended to me the other day. Said person that recommended it is on holiday so can't tell me what it is, so PH is the next best thing.
Sorry a bit vague but from what I remember it said something along the lines of:
It had quite a long obscure name that was more like a sentence.
It is different every time you read it.
Or, it is different for every person that reads it.
It sounded like a bit of a strange concept that I couldn't quite get from the summary. I couldn't work out how it would be different each time it's read, that's why I'm intrigued to read it.
That's about all I can think of. It definitely stood out though as apparently it's not your everyday book and from what I remember it was quite popular on Amazon.

Oh dear. This is like one of those times when somebody walks into the shop with a request that goes, "I was sitting opposite someone on the plane coming back from holiday, and they were reading a book that looked really good but I can't remember the title or who wrote it. Can you tell me what it was?"
"Ok did it have a picture on the front cover?"
"Yes. It was a man with a ship, or it could have been a woman I suppose. Or maybe a car. And there was a pig."
"A pig?"
"Well something that was pink... ... ish."
"Can't you remember even one word from the title."
"Errrrrmmmm. No not really"
