anyone read them? I used to like stuff like this when I was a teenager, and I feel like reading some again. Where can I buy them? Amazon etc? I haven't looked yet. Any recommendations - I haven't read anything for years. Stuff like Batman I suppose, you know good / evil / bit of darkness thrown in. Not manga.

Yes,I watched The Big Bang Theory this morning.

Amazon is a pretty good bet either that or Forbidden Planet.

Forbidden Planet is a good suggestion, if there's a shop locally.

I borrow quite a few from my local public library. They tend to have the classics like watchmen, laughing joke etc but also have some oddball stuff too. Its a cheap way to discover new stuff.

I can highly recomend the American Vampire series.

Look up Neil Gaiman, your library may well have some of his works.

Your grandson; it was good of him to give you the comics.

Looks interesting

He could always try sex wars but imagine it would put him on some kind of FBI list.

If you do cerebus, start with high society. The 25 odd issues before that are not necessary and dont add to the story. The quality begins with high society.

Meh, the early suff was interesting, the middle bit was great, church and state etc etc, but the later stuff was dire.
