Patrick Ness was on R2 earlier and simon mayo said his book The Knife of Never Letting Go was his favorite ever book, anyone read it and is it that good???

I went to a meeting at our local library last night when they got a local author to review "Treasure Island" which took him an hour. rolleyes

I did a quick spiel on Casino Royale appealing for help in giving it to light or non readers, saying that it would appeal to chaps. Four copies went to people who promised to pass them on and I gave a couple of copies to the guys who are painting the outside of our house.

As Ian Fleming is more well known due to the Bond films its an easier sell than the Bernard Cornwell book I gave last year, again to light and non readers.

The lady librarian recognised me from this time last year and gave me a copy of "The Reader" wink
