For the birthday of a dear friend of mine, I'm looking for a book on Alfa Romeo. More the classic ones, including race-cars. Imho after the DTM 156 it all went downhill, so up and until that period is good. Any ideas and amazon links?
Thx in advance,
Vincent

A lot depends on your budget. There's a couple I can think of that are well rated (none of which I admittedly own, although might buy the last one).....

Alfa Romeo Production Cars from 1910 [Hardcover]...massive book (1184 pages), but £199 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Alfa-Romeo-Production-Cars...

Alfa Romeo From 1910 To 2010 [Hardcover] ....same author as above but £30 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Alfa-Romeo-1910-Maurizio-T...

Curiosalfa......looks at the more oddball models (prototypes/vans etc) they've made. Got a good write-up in Classic&Sportscar I remember...... http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/8888269290/ref=...
