Jim Butcher - Dresden's back

The latest Dresden Files, Cold Days, is out this week, just landed on my Kindle this week.

Great series if you like urban fantasy, one of my favourite authors in that genre.

First few chapters read over brekkie and it's looking like a good one.

As with the other books there are some great 'no way!' moments. Though my favourite is still the dinosaur!

Re-read them back-to-back six months ago and that is one of the most epic bits.

I was so excited at the end of Ghost Story to see where Butcher would take it next, it made me very impatient for the next one. I had to make myself forget about when Cold Days was out, which was quite successful as I only realised it was due when the lovely OH pointed it out (and ordered it for me ). Now I will have to go through it all again!!

I find it hugely entertaining when he 'ups the ante' when you don't think it can be upped. 'Join or die' was one of those bits for me.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through it and it's not a disappointment! Was late leaving the house because I got stuck reading over brekkie.

Remembered to check on the 14th, was surprised to find it available, had it downloaded and read by the 15th.

Arse. Now I've another year to wait for the next one.
