I actually just went to the website initially, not thinking to google chris harris and the website. I found this (first google result): https://speedreaders.info/27872-variable-valve-tim... but its not clear to me if there are several reviews to the book which the poster refers to.

First paragraph:

‘If it wasn’t for clarkson punching someone and therefore him getting the top gear job, hardly anyone would have heard of Chris Harris’

Well, I dare say if you call yourself P1stonhead, it's not surprising you had heard of him. The point I made was that outside the car bloke community he was unknown . And as you may know , the TG audience is much wider than internet car forums .

Agreed, I've just finished listening to the audiobook and liked it - great humility shown and Chris comes across very well.

Now to start on the back catalogue of Collecting Cars podcasts for my lunchtime walks at work!

I found the podcast that Chris did with Harry Metcalfe covering Harry’s foray into the publishing game also gave good insight into the early days of Chris’ career and both men had a really good rapport...a definite recommend
