Scotland or north England.

Any recommendations? Preferably with a pool, arcades, bar/restaurant etc. Plenty holiday parks but not many seen to accept tents.

Fancy a bit of camping, my preference would be a quiet site in the middle of nowhere, but the kids will want activities and potentially others to play with etc etc.

Thanks smile

I'm sure I've been seeing pop up adverts from Haven(?) recently saying that they welcome tents, words along the lines of 'bring your own tent'.

Some of the Haven sites have a camping/touring caravan area. Have a look on their website.

North of England is a pretty wide area, anywhere in particular?

We’ve had some good camping holidays at Skipsea sands, mega cheap, middle of nowhere but all amenities on site, great for grandkids. 10 minutes into Bridlington, we had a week last June for an electric pitch for about £55.

Just got back from a Parkdean site in Dorset, East Fleet farm, £108 for the week, lovely site.
