Looking for some advice really. Converting something that wasn't a motorhome, into a motorhome...

Currently has an utterly gash high level brake light/camera, with awful screen bungeed over the original mirror.

Would like a proper rearview/parking camera, ideally with dashcam capabilities and a front facing camera. Massive bonus points if it's able to cope with a couple of extra cameras for 360 viewing... Would like separate screen, so it's not running through head unit.

Wolfbox seem to be sending every possible YouTuber one of their g900 series, however looking at Facebook owners groups it seems there's some serious issues with their rear cameras and water ingress.

So, over to the T, C & M massive. Wotcha got, and do you love it?

You can bluetooth a Garmin rear camera to a Garmin Satnav with dash cam. Don't know if that any good to you.

Ooh, could well be... I was thinking of a hardwired rear cam, but if Garmin Bluetooth is reliable (and all the Garmin kit I've ever had has been) then I guess that'd be even easier.

We have the AutoVox magnetic system …been faultless and you can move the cameras around wherever they might be needed.

I've been running a Wolfbox set-up (G900) for two years with no issues.
I've just put a G840S on my new (to me) van as it was a lot cheaper than the 900, and has all the functionality I need (rear, front cameras, parking lines and dip, g shock recording), and it's doing fine too.

However, I do seem to be having an incompatibility issue with the hardwire kit at the mo, whereby it stays on all the time rather than shutting down the screen with the ign switch, so I'm currently running it from the fag lighter ps.
Wolfbox have been exceptionally supportive, first sending out a new hardwire kit, and then a new complete kit (screen, everything). None of this has helped, and yes, it's correctly wired to both switched and permanent feeds, and I've tried every possible combination.
Wolfbox are now sending an OBD socket wiring kit, foc, so we'll see what happens with that before I'm reduced to trying a direct battery feed with a separate manual switched feed!
Meanwhile, I now have a complete spare system in case I have further issues...

Anyone else had similar issues with a X290 Ducato installation? Can't find anything online.

I found them very helpful as well. They've sent me 3 of them (lol) to review, and with the G900 Tripro they didn't have a long camera extension cable that was compatible with the USB C fitting one end, and the 2.5K camera at the other

So they made me one and send it direct from the factory !

It's the 'they sent three to review' which has been causing doubt when it comes to online reviews. They seem to be very, very willing to essentially spam them out to pretty much any content creator!

The Autovox system looks very interesting, I'd not really considered wireless signal transmission - but if it works, it works. The side markers/cameras are awesome too.

However, it seems I'd have to run an ignition live to the rear camera if I want to use it as a rear view mirror? Also, the screen doesn't seem to let me adjust the viewing window to 'switch' between driving and reversing (where I am more likely to want to look straight down)?

True, the caravan / motorhome forum where they offered me the test originally have subsequently given aware more to other people

Must cost them very little
