My go-to solar calc site has disappeared!

Given the st weather thus far this year with very little sun, how much solar (portable rigid panels) wattage would you spec to be comfortable to cover 4kWh of power requirements every day on a 12v system with everything running through an inverter? There would be a 560Ah LiFePo4 battery storage buffer in between. No B2B or EHU, everything to come from solar.

I'm actually only doing about 2.5 to 3 kWh most days, but getting up to 3.5 kWh running the washer, air fryer and short periods of micro, so want the headroom.

thanks smile

I don't monitor the motorhome closely enough to gauge, however I have a 2kWh battery power bank I use in the garage and charge with 2 x 400w rigid panels.

On a really good day and with them both perfectly aligned it will take 3 - 4 hours to charge back to full.

In sun/cloudy conditions it can take most of the day to charge. Overcast it may not fully charge during the day.

It will also depend on the panels, mine are ecoflow and don't appear to be that efficient, certainly not compared to the Victron ones on my motorhome.
